EO Solutions is seeking a skilled and motivated Test Engineer to support our high-power directed energy programs. This role requires a strong foundation in systems and electrical engineering, with a focus on integration, testing, and validation of complex laser systems and subsystems. The ideal candidate will be hands-on, detail-oriented, and capable of developing and executing comprehensive test plans to ensure performance and safety standards are met. Key Responsibilities:

· Develop and execute detailed test plans and procedures for high-power directed energy systems

· Conduct system- and sub-system-level integration and validation testing, including electrical and optical components

· Analyze test data, identify anomalies, and lead root cause investigations to resolution

· Collaborate closely with systems, electrical, and optical engineering teams to define and verify performance requirements

· Ensure all testing activities are compliant with safety standards and engineering best practices

· Document test results, generate reports, and maintain accurate configuration and test records

· Support lab setup, instrumentation calibration, and test equipment maintenance.

· Participate in design reviews and provide feedback on testability and integration considerations

Qualifications:

Required:

· Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related field

· 3+ years of experience in testing complex electro-optical or high-power laser systems

· Proficient in using electrical test equipment (oscilloscopes, power analyzers, multimeters) and data acquisition systems.

· Familiarity with high-voltage and high-power system safety and operation.

· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

· Experience with system-level troubleshooting and diagnostics.

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills for technical documentation and collaboration.

· U.S. citizenship required; eligibility for a DoD security clearance

Preferred:

· Experience with high power laser systems for defense or commercial applications
