We've partnered with a well-established law firm in the Birmingham/Homewood area that is actively looking to add a dependable and organised Legal Assistant to their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a professional office environment, thrives in a fast-paced setting, and is looking to build a long-term career within the legal industry.

Responsibilities

• Support attorneys with case preparation and administrative tasks.

• Organise and maintain legal files and case documentation.

• Assist with electronic court filings and document management.

• Handle incoming calls and provide professional client communication.

• Maintain calendars, appointments, court dates, and deadlines.

• Coordinate scheduling and assist with general office operations.

• Manage data entry and maintain organised filing systems.

• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth day-to-day workflow.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in an administrative, legal support, or office environment preferred.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities.

• Professional phone etiquette and interpersonal skills.

• Comfortable working with Microsoft Office / Office 365.

• Ability to work well within a team-oriented environment.

• Experience with legal filings or law office procedures is a plus.
