Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A retail pharmacy is seeking a per diem Staff Pharmacist to provide coverage during select dates in April and May. This role involves working in a specialty pharmacy environment, supporting prescription verification, managing pharmacy technicians, and ensuring smooth daily operations.
Location: Millbrook, AL (covering pharmacy in Montgomery, AL)
Schedule:
- April 9
- April 28 to May 1
- Pharmacy Hours:
- Monday - Thursday: 8:00 am - 5:00 pm
- Friday: 8:00 am - 12:00 pm
- Saturday & Sunday: Closed
Responsibilities:
- Verify and dispense prescriptions accurately
- Oversee and manage pharmacy technicians to maintain workflow efficiency
- Support specialty pharmacy operations within a busy independent setting
- Ensure compliance with pharmacy policies and regulations
Qualifications:
- Current Alabama State Pharmacist license with clean standing
- Minimum 2 years of recent experience in retail staff pharmacy
- Ability to manage and lead at least one pharmacy technician
- Experience in specialty pharmacy preferred
- Familiarity with Pioneer RX system is a significant plus
