We are looking for a Shift Manager to oversee all store operations, including welcoming and helping customers. Shift Supervisor responsibilities include delegating tasks to store staff. If you have excellent organizational and team management skills and experience in the retail or party store industry, we’d like to meet you. Ultimately, you will help us create a memorable experience for our guests and increase profitability.
Responsibilities
Delegate tasks to staff and supervise their performance
Learn how to make custom products. (Banners, Invitations, T-shirts, and more)
Arrange to have shifts covered (e.g., when employees take time off)
Help staff resolve on-the-job challenges
Balance the cash register at the end of the shift
Ensure customer satisfaction and gracefully handle any complaints
Open or close the store(when responsible for the first or last shift)
Inform the next Shift Manager about pending tasks
Report maintenance and training needs
Skills
Proven experience as a Shift Supervisor or relevant role in a Store
Good knowledge of retail operations
Availability to work different shifts, including weekends
Basic knowledge of register and reconciling cash.
A customer service approach with the ability to manage complaints with professionalism
Excellent organizational skills
Team management abilities
