Hexagon US Federal is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented accounting professional to join our dynamic team in Huntsville, AL. The ideal candidate will be responsible for a range of accounting functions, including but not limited to, general ledger accounting, order processing, receivable management, and account analysis and reconciliations. This individual must possess strong analytical capabilities, excellent organizational and communication skills, and thrive in a fast-paced work environment. 

• Prepare monthly financial schedules and journal entries
• Perform general ledger account reconciliations to support month-end and year-end close processes
• Manage accounts receivable and collections activities
• Oversee order processing and invoicing functions
• Conduct financial analysis related to order transactions
• Prepare and reconcile intercompany entries and balances
• Provide reports, schedules, and documentation for internal and external audit support
• Assist in continuous improvement of accounting systems and processes
• Support ad hoc reporting and special projects as required
• Perform additional duties as assigned

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
• 8–10 years of relevant professional accounting experience
• Strong understanding of government contracting regulations and compliance
• Knowledge of FASAB, US GAAP, and/or IFRS accounting standards
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Exceptional attention to detail and analytical thinking skills

• Experience with Deltek Costpoint
• Background in financial consolidation
