Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Construction Estimator & Field Coordinator with strong field 
experience and a proven ability to manage pre-construction and early project phases. The ideal 
candidate is detail-oriented, comfortable working with subcontractors and permitting authorities, 
and able to support jobs across multiple states in the Southeast.

Key Responsibilities
• Review, interpret, and analyze architectural and engineering drawings, specifications, and 
related documents.
• Perform accurate material takeoffs and develop detailed cost estimates.
• Meet with subcontractors to review scopes, obtain pricing, and support value-engineering 
efforts.
• Assist with pre-construction planning, budgeting, and schedule development.
• Manage and track permit applications and approvals in AL, GA, TN, and NC.
• Conduct site visits as needed, including short-notice travel to active or prospective project 
locations.
• Collaborate with project managers, field teams, and leadership to support smooth project 
transitions from estimating to construction.
• Analyze construction progress and identify potential risks, delays, or conflicts requiring 
escalation to leadership team.
• Maintain compliance with safety and environmental standards.

Required Qualifications
• Minimum 5 years of construction experience, including both estimating and field
operations.
• Strong ability to read and understand architectural and engineering plans and
specifications.
• Proficiency in material takeoffs and quantity surveying.
• Experience working with subcontractors and performing value-engineering reviews.
• Familiarity with permitting processes in AL, GA, TN, and NC.
• OSHA certification (current).
• Stormwater certification (current).
• Ability and willingness to travel to job sites as needed, including short-notice trips.
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications
• Active General Contractor’s License in AL, GA, TN, and/or NC.
• Experience with construction estimating software and digital takeoff tools.
• Background in commercial, industrial, or civil construction.
