Java Developer – Huntsville, AL

Full Visibility is seeking a Java Developer to work in Huntsville, AL. Candidate must possess an active Top Secret/SCI eligible clearance.

The Java Developer will be responsible for the design, development, testing, and management of the application development projects in support of IT infrastructure, including the programmatic integration of third-party components, the introduction of new custom capabilities, modification of existing code, process improvement recommendation, and automation of operations and maintenance tasks. The candidate will develop and implement technical efforts to design, build, and deploy applications at the direction of lead architects, including large-scale data processing, computationally intensive statistical modeling, and advanced analytics. The Java Developer will participate in all aspects of the software development life cycle for all solutions, including planning, requirements, development, testing, and quality assurance. The successful candidate will perform technical project milestone reviews, code architecture sessions, resource estimation, and development best practices knowledge transfer.

Requirements

• Active Top Secret Clearance/with SCI eligibility; This position may require the successful completion of a Counterintelligence (CI) Polygraph.

• At least six (6+) years of Software Engineer experience

• Experience with Java, Spring Boot, Angular, Python, and AWS
• Experience identifying technical strategies

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Robust decision-making skills

• Bachelor Degree in related field or in lieu of degree 4 additional years of experience
