Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A Special Education Teacher opportunity is available at an elementary school in Montgomery, AL, with a contract term from ASAP through May 22, 2026. This onsite position involves supporting an inclusion-based caseload, working within a collaborative school environment to meet the diverse learning needs of students.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver specially designed instruction to students with disabilities in an inclusion classroom setting
• Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) tailored to each student’s needs
• Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families to ensure student success
• Monitor and document student progress and adjust instruction accordingly
• Maintain compliance with all special education policies and regulations

Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid Special Education teaching licensure
• Experience working with inclusion-based caseloads preferred
• Strong knowledge of special education laws, instructional strategies, and behavioral supports
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Commitment to fostering an inclusive, supportive educational environment

Location:

• Montgomery, Alabama (onsite position at the elementary school)
