Qualis LLC is seeking a summer intern to support our Application Development (AppDev) team in maintaining and enhancing the ARC Integrated Operations & Data Management Platform. Interns will gain hands-on experience by contributing to meaningful projects, including developing custom reports, creating SQL queries for data analysis, and designing solutions for process automation. This role offers an opportunity to work with technologies like ServiceDesk Plus and SQL Server while supporting the mission of the Missile Defense Agency's Advanced Research Center (ARC).

Requirements

• The selected candidate must be enrolled in higher education, in pursuit of a bachelor’s or master’s degree that relates to the job description
• SQL Server 2017/2022
• SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS)
• SQL Server Data Tools (SSDT)
• Deluge and JSON scripting
• API call development & implementation
• PowerShell scripting

Daily/Weekly Taskings
Maintain project office processes

Daily Stand-Up meeting participation

Create communication products for internal use and Government customers

Summer Project(s)
Predictive Data Reporting: Assist the AppDev team in designing and developing a custom report in SD+ to forecast costs and planning data. The intern will support the implementation of a user-selectable date range, help with cost calculations, and contribute to the final report layout. This collaborative project will provide leadership with a critical tool for data-driven financial planning while giving the intern valuable team-based development experience.

SQL Query Creation and Data Analysis: Create SQL queries for the ServiceDesk database, analyze data for trends, and apply SQL functions.

Custom Solution Design and Implementation: Assistance with custom solution design and implementation focused specifically on automated reporting for root cause analysis, resource usage and time to resolution forecasting.

Security Clearance:

U.S. Secret Security Clearance or ability to obtain.
