Nursing degree, active registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1+ years ER RN experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This opportunity is for a Registered Nurse with Emergency Room experience, working in a dynamic setting where critical thinking and leadership are essential to providing exceptional patient care. The role requires shift accountability for assessing and managing Emergency Room patients using the Nursing Process and adhering to state Nurse Practice Act guidelines and facility protocols. The RN will lead and delegate patient care activities to ensure safety and quality outcomes while maintaining clinical skills through continuing education.

Qualifications / Desired Experience:

• Current Alabama RN license (must be attached with submission)
• ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications through the American Heart Association (submission required; RQI not accepted)
• TNCC certification (submission required)
• Experience working in Emergency Room nursing, preferably with community hospital exposure
• Strong clinical judgment and ability to supervise and delegate nursing responsibilities

Responsibilities / Duties:

• Provide comprehensive care to Emergency Department patients using the Nursing Process
• Demonstrate leadership by anticipating patient needs and planning care accordingly
• Maintain clinical competencies through ongoing education and certification renewals
• Delegate patient care tasks to team members based on their education and experience
• Monitor and ensure quality standards are met for safe patient outcomes
