As a Security Professional - Unarmed Patrol CRE in Montgomery, AL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more.

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a commercial real estate location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help maintain a secure environment for tenants, visitors, and staff. Your presence will help to deter security-related incidents, and you will have the opportunity to interact with the public by providing exceptional customer service and clear communication. You will be part of a team that values agility, reliability, and innovation, working in a caring environment that puts people first and always operates with integrity.

What You'll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the commercial real estate location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor access points, observe for unusual activity, and report observations according to site procedures.
• Work collaboratively with property management and/or tenants to address security-related concerns as they arise.
• Document daily activities, incidents, and observations in accordance with Allied Universal and client protocols.
• Remain visible and approachable to tenants, visitors, and/or employees to help to deter unauthorized activity and provide assistance as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have at least two years of security-related experience.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Ability to work at locations with limited on-site facilities, such as portable toilets or rustic guard shacks, is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
