Become a part of something IMPACT-ful! Ground Missile Defense (GMD) is the heart of the Missile Defense System and a key element of our nations defense against ballistic missile attacks.

The GMD Weapon System (GWS) processes data from multiple sensors to identify and characterize the inbound ballistic missile threat, plans the best defensive solution, and launches the intercepting missiles to negate the threat.

The Work
What you'll get to do:
Oversee the maintenance and security of company intranets and computer systems, ensuring optimal performance and uptime
Set up and maintain user access, including permissions and security protocols
Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and networking issues promptly to minimize downtime
Work with other IT staff and departments to identify and implement new technologies that enhance system performance and user experience

Basic Qualifications:
Associate or Bachelor degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Math discipline
Experience with Systems Administration for Windows or Linux Operating Systems such as Microsoft Windows and RedHat Enterprise Linux (RHEL)
Must have a DOD 8140 IAT Level II certification or higher (ex: Security + CE)
Experience with various windows and Red Hat scripting using tools such as Python, Perl, Bash, PowerShell, etc.
Knowledge of IAVMs and addressing software vulnerabilities
Active/Current Secret clearance required
Desired Skills:
Active Linux Certifications (Linux+, RHCSA, RHCE)
Active Windows Certifications (MCSA, MCSE, etc.)
Experience with DevOps architecture such as Kubernetes, Nexus, Docker, GitLab, etc.
Experience with security compliance and related security scanning products (ACAS)
Experience in enterprise backup and restore solutions, storage area network (SAN), and network attached storage (NAS)
Experience with network administration and related infrastructure
Experience with hardware installation and maintenance to include firmware upgrades
Experience with both Windows and Linux scripting languages
Experience with Windows Patching/WSUS application
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 9x80 every other Friday off
