Qualifications:

• Active Alabama Special Education Teacher Certification is required
• Experience teaching or working alongside children with diverse learning needs is preferred
• Adaptability to work across different grade levels and educational environments
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
• Passion for fostering an inclusive, supportive, and engaging classroom setting

Key Responsibilities:

• Create and deliver individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to students’ unique strengths and needs
• Collaborate effectively with general education teachers, support staff, and families
• Utilize evidence-based instructional strategies for students with exceptionalities
• Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in line with state and federal regulations
