Position Summary

As a Shift Leader, you’ll run shifts with confidence, making sure everything flows smoothly while motivating your crew to deliver A Sub Above® . You’ll work closely with the management team, learning the skills that will prepare you for the next step in your career.

Responsibilities

  • Lead by example in all positions: slicing, grilling, sprinkling, cashier.

  • Oversee shift operations: opening/closing, cash handling, cleanliness, and food safety.

  • Motivate, coach, and support team members to deliver fast, friendly service.

  • Manage rush periods with energy and efficiency while keeping quality high.

  • Uphold Jersey Mike’s standards for customer service and product excellence.

Qualifications

  • Age 18+, high school diploma or equivalent.

  • 6+ months of restaurant/retail experience (leadership experience preferred).

  • Energetic, positive, and reliable.

  • Flexible availability—including nights and weekends.

  • Strong people skills—you enjoy leading and inspiring others.
