This CDL A driving position offers consistent miles, scheduled home time, and dependable equipment for drivers who want a steady over-the-road job without constantly changing routes. Freight moves on established lanes with planned dispatch, allowing drivers to run predictable trips while keeping weekly pay consistent.

The fleet hauls dry van freight with all loads no-touch for the driver. Approximately half of the loads are drop and hook, with the remainder live load or live unload depending on the lane. Most runs operate through the Southeast, Midwest, and Eastern states, giving drivers regular miles without being sent to random areas every week. Home time is every other weekend with time off scheduled in advance.

Drivers run newer Freightliner Cascadia and Kenworth tractors with automatic transmissions and built-in power inverters. Equipment is serviced regularly to help reduce breakdowns and delays. Drivers may take the truck home when safe parking is available or use approved company terminals when needed. Dispatch support is available 24 hours a day to assist with loads, routing, and scheduling.

Weekly pay for this position ranges from $1,400–$1,750 depending on miles driven each week. Drivers are paid detention after two hours and receive layover pay when applicable. Paid orientation is provided, including travel, hotel, and meals. Benefits begin after 30 days and include medical, dental, and vision coverage, along with a retirement plan with company match and paid vacation. Pets and passengers are allowed under company policy.

Requirements: Applicants must have a valid Class A CDL, at least 3 months of tractor-trailer experience, meet DOT requirements, be at least 21 years old, and pass background and drug screening.
