Join Allied Universal as a Security Officer in a busy retail location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, stay visible to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Pay Rate: $17.00 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and/or staff by following site-specific procedures, access guidelines, and emergency response protocols in a retail location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and sharing relevant details with management and/or emergency personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout storefront areas, common spaces, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity and support security-related concerns.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and high-traffic areas to help address policy violations, unauthorized activity, and/or customer service issues in a professional manner.
• Complete routine reports, incident documentation, and shift activity logs related to patrol findings, customer interactions, and/or security-related events.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• The ability to ride a bike for long periods of time is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
