Step into a meaningful opportunity supporting students for the first semester as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) in a dynamic school environment. This contract position, covering a maternity leave, offers a chance to make a real difference as a long-term substitute. You’ll work Monday through Friday, 35 hours per week, providing behavioral intervention and consultation to help maintain continuity of care and student progress.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Active BCBA certification is required
- Previous experience as a BCBA in school settings is highly valued
- Demonstrated expertise in functional behavior assessment, analysis, and implementation of intervention plans
- Strong communication abilities for effective collaboration with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
- Adaptable, proactive approach with a commitment to student success
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement evidence-based behavior analytic services for a diverse caseload of students
- Conduct assessments, develop, and monitor individualized behavior plans
- Train and collaborate with school staff and paraprofessionals on intervention strategies and data collection
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, providing recommendations and reporting on student progress
- Maintain detailed documentation and ensure compliance with school policies and best practices
