The Role

• Travel Requirement: 100%—extended on‑site assignments nationwide
• Assignment Length: Open‑ended (typically 6+ months), plus short‑term opportunities
• Compensation: $40+/hr depending on experience and project scope
• Per Diem: $125–$180/day (based on location)
• Overtime: Available per client demand
• Mileage: $0.725/mile to the job site (paid on first paycheck)
• On‑Site Commitment: Remain as long as the client needs support
• Travel Experience: Preferred but not required

Must‑Have Background (5+ years, recent & verifiable) in one or more:

• CNC Milling
• 5‑Axis Mill‑Turn
• CNC Lathes
• Swiss Lathes
• Dual‑Spindle / Dual‑Turret Lathes with live tooling
• ID/OD Grinding
• Centerless Grinding
• Manual Mills/Lathes

Core Technical Expectations

• Run end‑to‑end setups with minimal instruction
• Design/build tooling and verify with proper gauging
• Calculate and adjust offsets using probes, edge finders, etc.
• Edit, debug, and prove out programs at the control
• Machine one‑off and low‑volume parts safely
• Confidently cut high‑alloy and tool steels plus exotic materials
• Adapt quickly to various CNC controls and shop environments

Inspection & Metrology

• Full layout inspections
• Digital/analog height gages
• Optical comparators & vision systems
• Profile tracers
• Manual, portable, and bridge‑style CMMs
• Sine plates, sine bars, and standard precision instruments

Bring strong problem‑solving and analytical thinking to resolve quality and throughput issues.

What You Get
