Mission Test Administrator Associate

Avion Solutions Inc., an employee-owned company, is seeking candidates for a Mission Test Administrator Associate to support SMDC. This position is located in Huntsville, AL.

Job Responsibilities/Duties:

• Lead geographically dispersed teams with multiple efforts simultaneously.

• Respond to documented user requirements and author test plans in support of range tests.

• Review user requirements documentation; design, define, and document mission test plans; transform test plans into test scripts and execute those scripts.

• Conduct risk analysis and provide risk mitigation solutions for mission execution.

• Serve on console to support real-time flight test execution in multiple operator positions.

• Directs range tests with some supervision.

• Other duties as assigned.

Required Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, or other related STEM discipline.

• Experience with real-time flight-test execution in a Major Range and Test Facility Base environment.

• Good organizational and leadership skills.

• Strong oral and written communication skills.

• Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite.

• Ability to work in a stressful environment to perform duties with little supervision.

• The ability to travel to Kwajalein Atoll in the Marshall Islands on a limited basis is required.

• Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid U.S. passport for travel.

• The flexibility to work occasional non-duty hours or on weekends to support specific project or mission requirements.

• Must be a U.S. citizen and have the ability to obtain/maintain a DoD security clearance.

• Must be able to travel up to 25% of the time.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Active Secret clearance.

• Familiarity with Ronald Reagan Space & Missile Test Range (RTR) and/or DoD programs and processes.

• Experience with real-time flight-test execution in a Major Range and Test Facility Base environment.

• Strong attention to detail and ability to efficiently perform multiple tasks. Strong written and oral communication skills.
