A successful Staffing Coordinator should be able to communicate efficiently and stay organized in a fast-paced environment. The goal is to ensure that the company's staffing requirements are always met, and employees work in a friendly, supportive environment. **Job Description:** ​ **Job Responsibilities** (listed in order of importance and/or time spent) + Investigate pharmacies staffing needs and take action to staff accordingly + Schedule, organize and implement a sustainable staffing strategy + Work with other staff members to fulfill the needs of patients and nurses' schedules + Identify hard to fill schedules and take proactive actions + Possess excellent communication and written skills to effectively speak to employees, patients and pharmacies + Prepare and submit reports on staffing operations + Update nurses' calendars daily **Supervisory Responsibilities** Does this position have supervisory responsibilities? (i.e. hiring, recommending/approving promotions and pay increases, scheduling, performance reviews, discipline, etc.) No - X Yes **Basic Education and/or Experience Requirements** + High school diploma + Minimum of 6 months of related experience **Basic Qualifications** + Good time-management skills with the ability to handle various open referrals simultaneously + Excellent verbal, written communication skills and critical thinking skills + Communicate in a timely manner **Physical Demand Requirements** + Ability to work on a personal computer or laptop computer for extended periods of time. + Occasional bending, stooping, reaching **Travel Requirements:** **(if required)** N/A **Preferred Qualifications & Interests (PQIs)** + Some college + Previous healthcare scheduling experience Due to state pay transparency laws, the full range for the position is below: Salary to be determined by the applicant's education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
