Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A rewarding opportunity is available for a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to provide essential support within a K-12 educational setting. This contract position is based in Adamsville, AL, and allows for the delivery of specialized speech and language services to students across grade levels.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations for students
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans targeting communication disorders
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress
- Document session notes and maintain accurate records in compliance with educational standards
- Monitor student progress and modify interventions as needed
- Provide training and support to classroom staff regarding communication strategies
Desired Qualifications:
- Valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Experience working with children in a school environment, preferably K-12
- Strong knowledge of speech-language pathology assessment and therapy techniques
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
- Commitment to student-centered care and educational goals
