Maintenance Technician II

**Maintenance Technician** **Shift & Pay** + Candidates must be available to work a 2nd or 3rd shift **Job Description** As a Maintenance Tech II, you will be responsible for the installation, inspection, repair, and maintenance of material handling equipment such as conveyors. + You will also be required to complete preventative maintenance routines, documentation, and procedures. + Will perform battery changes, and preventive maintenance on batteries. + You will be expected to enter downtime data in a daily log and complete PM sheets. + Tasked with troubleshooting and identifying problems with equipment, as well as tracking and storing the department's inventory, including spare parts. **Skills** + Equipment Maintenance (conveyance, gearboxes, single/three-phase motors, sensors, relays) + diagnostic testing + mechanical troubleshooting + preventative maintenance + lockout/tagout up to 480V + Ability to work in a data-driven environment + Willingness to walk 10,000 steps per day + Openness to working any 10-hour shift **Job Type** This is a direct-hire opportunity (non-contract based) **Work Environment** This role is based in a large distribution facility with high-speed, automated equipment, primarily featuring robotic components. You must be comfortable walking up to 10,000 steps per day and be open to working any 10-hour shifts. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Montgomery, NY. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00/hr.
