Job Summary (List Format):


- Define and drive the future state technology stack to support rapid application deployment.
- Evaluate and recommend key architectural choices in collaboration with responsible architects.
- Lead and contribute individually or within virtual teams to deliver technology solutions.
- Drive adoption of API, microservices, and API management platforms bank-wide.
- Establish a technology vision covering user/customer experience, data analytics, cloud provisioning, and scalable digital architecture.
- Maintain strong awareness of open-source and security architecture standards.
- Explore new technologies, conduct Proof of Concepts (POCs), and recommend licensing models.
- Develop clear architecture roadmaps for transforming legacy systems into robust platforms.
- Demonstrate strong organizational, leadership, and senior stakeholder management skills.
- Create conceptual architecture aligned with the bank's digital strategy.
- Define and implement strategic technology platforms and solutions for future growth.
- Challenge and optimize technology solutions proposed by vendors and internal teams.
- Identify application landscape hotspots and propose rectification strategies.
- Optimize technology assets by consolidating applications and reducing redundancies/costs.
- Apply expertise in Azure cloud services and banking/financial services applications.
- Specialize in integration/API architecture (JSON, REST, SOAP, XML, Azure, AKS, Docker, Open API).
- Ensure appropriateness of technology architecture solutions for technology teams.
- Advise senior management on strategic technology investments and industry trends (e.g., mobility, big data).
- Lead source control, release management, and application/platform stability initiatives.
- Define functional and non-functional application requirements.
- Experience with online commerce, omni-channel retail, and Agile/DevOps (CI/CD).
- Manage cross-border teams; advanced vendor management skills.
- Knowledge of serverless architecture and cloud certification preferred.
- Conduct architecture awareness sessions and present solutions for approval.
- Strong solution design skills and ability to drive POCs.
- Break down complex problems, develop innovative and strategic solutions, and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
- Make high-level architectural decisions, allocate resources, and develop policies/standards.
- Evaluate/select technology vendors and manage risk mitigation strategies.
- Approve architectural designs/changes and ensure compliance with standards/regulations.
- Mentor team members, foster continuous improvement, and communicate decisions and rationale.
- Minimum 16-20 years' experience with skills in Azure cloud, solution design, and enterprise architecture governance.
