Specifically, we are looking for a TS/SCI cleared Network Administrator – Journeyman to support this mission at Al Ud eid A ir Base, Doha, Qatar .

Responsibilities:

As a Network Administrator – Journeyman , you will provide technical and management leadership for all equipment and information support functions across the Task Order. Your responsibilities include:

• Possesses and applies expertise in operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting robust network infrastructure, developing diagnostic capabilities, and resolving mission-critical C2ISR Data Transport Infrastructure network challenges.
• Independently performs end-to-end infrastructure testing and connectivity verification for complex network paths, diagnosing issues across various layers (physical, data link, network).
• Conducts advanced technical diagnostic strategies to identify, analyze, and resolve moderate to complex network performance issues across global transport systems using tools like packet analyzers, SNMP, and command-line diagnostics.
• Implements proactive monitoring and predictive troubleshooting methodologies for network environments, configuring alerts and dashboards to anticipate and prevent outages.
• Supports the precise pushing out of routing configurations and coordinates changes with the DISA Operational Support Cell (OSC) and Command Satellite Operations (SATOPS)-ISR under guidance.
• Operates with appreciable latitude in resolving complex network problems, ensuring continuous operational effectiveness and minimal communication disruptions for C2ISR services.
• Utilize the following TO Management & Financial Tracking Tools: Task Order portal; Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power BI, Power Automate); G Invoicing API; ASSIST portal integration; variance analysis dashboards; MS Project; Primavera; GFP management modules; WBS tracking systems; ServiceNow; Jira Service Desk; automated RIP/CTP/TAR workflows; SharePoint libraries; Confluence; Microsoft Search; lessons learned databases; video library repositories; Archer GRC; eMASS internal audit portals; Excel/SharePoint audit templates; CMDB with version control; Power BI with R/Python integration; Tableau; predictive analytics engines; Teams; Azure AD role based access; mobile access via Power Apps.
• Utilize the following Role Specific Tools: Microsoft Word; Excel; SharePoint; Confluence; ServiceNow; Jira; endpoint monitoring tools; basic wireless diagnostic platforms. SolarWinds, packet analyzers, SNMP, and command-line diagnostics, packet capture analysis (e.g., Wireshark) Service Desk ticketing systems (ServiceNow, Remedy); network diagramming software (Visio, Lucidchart ); cabling and installation tools (fiber termination kits, copper testers);

Qualifications

Require d qualifications :

• Previous experience as a Network Administrator or similar role supporting a DoD customer at the C CMD leve l ; Minimum of 5years’ experience with a BS/BA, or 3years’ experience with an MS/MA or 0years’ experience with a PhD. or 9 years' experience w/o a degree ot 7 years' experience with AS/AA
• A current, active DoD security clearance at the TS/SCI level
• US citizenship is required
• DoD 8140 role for WRC: 441; Element: IT; Work Role: Network Operations Specialist; Proficiency Level: Intermediate / Ability to obtain

Des i red Qualifications:

• Must complete DoD-approved IA baseline certification for ADP-III/IT-III based on the IAT level and CE/Operating System (OS) certificate within six months of the assignment.

Work Environment:

• Location:  Al Udeid A ir Base, Doha, Qatar
• On-site expectations : Full -time on-site presence required for equipment management and asset tracking
• Travel: May require occasional travel to CONUS and OCONUS sites for logistics coordination and facility assessments

Details

Target Salary Range: $66,000 - $106,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual’s experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
