Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available for the 20252026 school year in a K12 educational setting in Sylacauga, AL. This contract position offers the chance to support student communication development through comprehensive speech and language services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct evaluations and provide therapy for students experiencing speech, language, voice, or fluency disorders
• Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to student needs
• Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to promote student progress
• Maintain accurate records and documentation aligned with district and state regulations
• Participate actively in IEP meetings and contribute as a valued member of the educational team

Qualifications/Desired Experience:

• Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Valid Alabama SLP license or eligibility
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; Clinical Fellows (CFs) will receive mentorship and support
• Licensed Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) with current Alabama licensure are encouraged to apply
• Strong passion for working with school-aged children and fostering their communication skills
