Job Title: Quality Coordinator (AWS/CWI)

Responsibilities

• Support various Battery Energy Storage System (BESS), Solar, and other projects.
• Coordinate project quality efforts at multiple sites, including Wadley, Warner Robbins, Dublin, Albany, GA, Cartersville, Newnan, Gainesville, and Rome, GA.
• Assist project management with development and implementation of project quality plans.
• Oversee onsite contractors ensuring work is performed according to specifications and standards.
• Develop and document site-specific procedures and guidelines.
• Create and manage surveillance schedules and perform surveillances to ensure compliance with applicable codes and standards.
• Review inspection and test plans, monitor adherence, and assist with preventative maintenance activities.
• Participate in pre-bid, pre-mob, and other contractor meetings to ensure understanding of project quality requirements.
• Support overall project quality management efforts in collaboration with project and construction teams.

• Minimum of 10 years experience in quality oversight or related field.
• 4-year degree in a related discipline preferred.
• Currently certified AWS/CWI (Certified Welding Inspector) from the American Welding Society.
• AMPP/NACE certification is a plus.
• Familiarity with BESS and Solar construction projects is advantageous.
• Ability to review inspection/test plans and quality documentation.
• Knowledge of ASME, AWS, ANSI, ASTM, ACI standards and ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
• Proven ability to perform onsite quality surveillances, hold and witness points, and ensure compliance.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team with excellent communication skills.
• Willingness to travel between sites as needed.
