Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time position is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) in a school setting located in Huntsville, AL. This role serves students in grades K12 during the 20262027 school year. Caseloads vary based on experience and candidate preference, with needs ranging from moderate to profound.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide evaluation, assessment, and therapy services to pediatric students across early childhood and elementary school levels, as well as older K12 learners.
- Develop individualized treatment plans addressing speech, language, and communication disorders.
- Collaborate with educators and families to support student progress.
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with school policies and state regulations.
- Adapt therapy approaches to meet the unique needs of each student.
Qualifications:
- Valid SLP certification/license appropriate for school settings.
- Experience working with pediatric populations, especially in early childhood and elementary school environments.
- Ability to manage caseloads that address a range of needs from moderate to profound.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Open to both local and travel candidates.
