Overview:

The NOC Analyst is responsible for monitoring and maintaining the health and performance of our network infrastructure 24/7/365. This role requires a keen eye for detail, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work under pressure. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of network protocols, troubleshooting techniques, and network management tools.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues.
• Respond to network alerts and incidents.
• Configure and maintain network devices.
• Implement network changes and upgrades.
• Ensure network security.
• Maintain accurate network documentation.
• Work rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications:

• Strong understanding of networking protocols (TCP/IP, TCP/UDP, FTP, DNS, DHCP).
• Experience with network devices (routers, switches, firewalls) from vendors like Cisco, Juniper, or Fortinet.
• Proficiency in network management tools (e.g., SolarWinds, Nagios).
• Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python, Perl).
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Attention to detail.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
