Direct Hire Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Infusion Pharmacist to join a home infusion pharmacy in Montgomery, AL. This role provides safe and appropriate pharmacy services to patients in the alternate care setting, ensuring pliance with all regulatory standards while coordinating patient therapy and supporting clinical outes.

Schedule: Monday Friday, 8:00 AM 4:30 PM
Start Date: ASAP

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess appropriateness of therapy, develop patient-specific plans of care, and remend dosing adjustments as needed.

• Perform order entry, pounding oversight, dispensing, and pump programming/troubleshooting.

• Provide education to patients and caregivers on therapy, administration, and safety.

• Monitor and document therapy progress, laboratory results, and pliance.

• Ensure adherence to USP <797> standards, clean room procedures, and QA/QC documentation.

• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary staff to optimize patient care.

• Supervise and support pharmacy technicians, interns, and students.

• Participate in on-call rotation as needed.

Requirements:

• Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy (PharmD or Masters degree in Pharmacy preferred).

• Active and unrestricted Alabama Pharmacist license.

• Minimum 2 years recent acute-care experience or 1 year of recent home infusion experience.

• Strong knowledge of intravenous admixture services and IV therapy.

• Ability to evaluate and monitor therapy in collaboration with the healthcare team.

• Leadership skills to supervise support staff effectively.

• Strong organizational, munication, and problem-solving skills.
