Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Make a meaningful impact this summer by supporting students’ educational journeys as a School Psychologist during an extended school year program. This contract opportunity runs from June 15th to July 30th, 2026, and offers the chance to provide essential compensatory services for students near the Pinson, AL area. The position requires onsite presence (no virtual/remote work), and work hours typically fall between 7:45 am and 2:00 pm; the exact weekly schedule may vary based on student needs.
Qualifications:
- Current, active Alabama (AL) School Psychologist license (required)
- Previous experience working in school settings or providing educational psychological services preferred
- Strong knowledge of assessment and intervention strategies for a diverse student population
- Exceptional organization, communication, and collaboration skills
Responsibilities:
- Deliver compensatory psychological services directly to students as part of the summer ESY program
- Conduct formal and informal assessments to develop intervention recommendations
- Consult with educators and families to support student learning and well-being
- Maintain timely and accurate records of services and progress
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop individualized plans
