Title: Civil Engineer

Location: Mobile Alabama, Panama City Florida

POSITION PROFILE:

Our clientis seeking a licensed Professional Engineer with experience in the municipal/water/stormwater or federal markets for employment. Our client is looking to hire someone with experience in municipal water, stormwater, site development or dredging experience in their Panama City, and Pensacola offices. In addition, they are looking for civil engineers with federal infrastructure experience for their Mobile Alabama office.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Desire to Make a Difference in the life of the communities they serve.
• Technical skills in pond design, stormwater, drainage, collection, and conveyance.
• Understanding of water/wastewater systems.
• Technical skills in roadway and transportation design.
• Experience with jurisdictional agencies in determining permit requirements and preparation of permit applications and supporting documentation.
• Experience in project management and budgeting.
• Works collaboratively with a team of engineers and support staff.
• Preparation of technical reports, progress reports, etc. as requested by management and/or clients.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:

• BS in Civil Engineering from an ABET accredited engineering program
• 8-12 years of experience in the field or related area in Florida
• 4-10 years of experience in the field or related area in Alabama
• PE licensure in the state of Florida or Alabama, or the ability to obtain a license
