A retail staff pharmacist position is available to provide per diem coverage from April 9 and April 28 through May 1. This role supports a specialty pharmacy with locations in Montgomery and Dothan, AL, requiring flexibility to work at both sites as needed.
Schedule:
- Monday to Thursday: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
- Friday: 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM
- Saturday and Sunday: Closed
Key Responsibilities:
- Verify prescriptions for accuracy and safety
- Manage and supervise pharmacy technicians
Qualifications:
- Valid Alabama State Pharmacist license with a clean disciplinary record
- Minimum of 2 years recent experience in retail staff pharmacy
- Experience in a busy independent or specialty pharmacy setting
- Ability to manage a pharmacy technician team of at least one member
- Experience with Pioneer RX software is a plus
This per diem assignment offers the opportunity to contribute to a dynamic pharmacy team serving multiple locations. Strong attention to detail and team management skills are essential.
