NTA, Inc. is seeking a Systems Engineer to support research, development, and engineering activities at Redstone Arsenal. Duties will include derivation of missile system requirements, development of custom test beds and test procedures to verify requirements, documentation of missile system algorithms, analysis of system-level performance, and coordination with multidisciplinary engineering teams on potential system improvements. This position supports the Combat Capabilities Development Command (DEVCOM) Aviation and Missile Center (AvMC) in missile system research and development.

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering from an ABET accredited institution
• 3 + years of experience

Required:

• Department of Defense (DoD) technical experience
• Experience with requirements derivation and verification
• Experience evaluating the impacts of software and hardware design changes
• Strong understanding of engineering principles and processes

Desired:

• Software testing and documentation experience
• Experience developing and/or operating customized test beds, including Hardware-in-the-Loop (HWIL)
• Experience with Linux-based operating systems
• Experience with Python
• Microsoft Project experience

A high level of computer skills and experience with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word are required, along with organizational, managerial, written, and verbal communication skills. Applicant should be detail oriented with good analytical skills, a team player, and able to handle multiple deadlines and priorities.

Applicant must have a current security clearance or be able to obtain a security clearance through a government security investigation. U.S. Citizenship is required.
