Peoplelink Staffing , in partnership with a prominent plastics manufacturer in the Birmingham, AL area, is seeking Quality Inspectors to join their team!
Quality Supervisor Job Summary:Pay - $17-$19
- 1st Shift: 6:00 am to 2:30 pm
- 2nd Shift: 6:30 pm to 2:00 am
management, account development, and customer satisfaction. As the primary point of contact for
customers, the Supervisor ensures a thorough understanding of project requirements and maintains clear communication throughout. This role involves providing on-site supervision for Team Leaders and Inspectors, ensuring the team meets client expectations and project requirements. The Supervisor is also responsible for verifying the accuracy of project documents and stepping in to fulfill the responsibilities of Team Leaders and Inspectors as needed. Position Responsibilities:
Meet customer expectations for production, quality, and delivery timelines while overseeing all
aspects of assigned projects. Enhance customer service through regular interaction and resolution of complaints through
problem-solving and Root Cause Analysis methods. Support Operations Manager and Operations Coordinator in driving continuous improvement
initiatives. Collect and submit key performance indicator data accurately and on time. Submit client billing information promptly, as required. Possess a comprehensive understanding of Team Leader and Inspector job requirements. Develop and refine standardized work instructions to enhance customer and supplier inspection
and rework projects. Verify and correct project documentation as needed. Conduct layered audits (People, Parts, Process, Paperwork, Protection). Maintain appropriate staffing levels for projects. Assist in developing and implementing training for Team Leaders and Inspectors. Evaluate Team Leaders, Inspectors and Associate team members for efficiency, accuracy, and
competence, provide recommendations for retention and advancement, and recommend
disciplinary actions as needed. Ensure work areas are clean and organized (5S). Ensure compliance with SQ and client policies and procedures. Why Peoplelink Staffing?
