Schedule/Hours:

• 5x8-hour shifts, totaling 40 hours per week
• Rotate every other weekend
• Holidays as required

Essential Qualifications:

• Associate degree in nursing (required)
• Active Registered Nurse license in Alabama or a Compact state (temporary licenses not accepted), verified on NURSYS
• AHA BLS and ACLS (or Red Cross equivalent) certifications
• At least 2 years’ RN experience preferred; will consider applicants with 18 months of experience (including 1 recent year in CVOR)
• Strong preference for candidates willing to circulate and float to different units/sites

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, coordinate, and direct high-quality compassionate nursing care in the CVOR
• Build positive, therapeutic relationships with patients and families
• Oversee LPNs, PCAs, Ortho Techs, and other unlicensed staff
• Uphold professional standards and foster a supportive environment for your team
• Adapt to units as needed, demonstrating flexibility and collaboration
