Instrumentation and Controls Design Engineer Leader

We are seeking a Senior I&C Design Leader to lead capital project design deliverables for industrial projects. We are seeking an I&C Engineer or Senior I&C Design Leader with 15-20 years of experience in managing teams of designers and/or engineers in complex design projects on heavy industrial projects.

• Write technical scopes of work
• Design/check P&ID"s (including instrumenting P&ID's, and adding control and interlock notes), data sheets, architecture drawings, functional descriptions, instrument index, loop sheets, interconnection diagrams, instrument location plans, I/O lists and cable schedules.

Skills/Experience

• B.S. degree preferred not mandatory. P.E. license is a plus
• Experience directing designers and/or engineers for capital project design deliverables
• Able to review and approve vendor drawings
• Perform FEL1, FEL2, FEL3 estimates
• Interact with other discipline leads and clients to effect technical solutions to project issues
• Able to perform field walk-downs to gather field data, attend meetings, bid walk-downs, etc.
