Snelling is recruiting for a skilled Fabrication Services Technician for a company in the Birmingham area. The Fabrication Services Technician has responsibilities that pertain to the assembly and fabrication of customized fluid system solutions.
Shift/Pay: 1st shift, $22.00-24.00/hr
Responsibilities of Fabrication Services Technician
- Ability to work from general instructions, shop drawings, fluid system schematics, P & IDs blueprints, and/or diagrams.
- Achieve and maintain certifications that are required to assemble products.
- Ability to apply Distributor Policy and SQS to all custom solutions activities.
- Interact with customers via face-to-face meetings or with the use of technology.
Education/Experience Requirements for Fabrication Services Technician:
- Associate Degree (Industrial Engineering Technology, Manufacturing Engineering Technology)
- preferred, or equivalent work experience. The ability to achieve certifications in required assembly methods.
- 3+ years of hands on mechanical experience
- Experience and understanding of Assembly/Fabrication, Orbital Welding, Tube Bending, Blueprints, math and tool use
