We are seeking hardworking and safety-conscious individuals to assist with demo panels in a steel building . This role involves hands-on labor, dismantling, and removal of steel panels, along with general support for ironwork crews.

Responsibilities

• Safely dismantle and remove steel building panels and related materials.

• Operate basic hand tools, power tools, and equipment as needed.

• Assist ironworkers and crew leads with demolition and cleanup tasks.

• Follow all safety guidelines, site rules, and supervisor instructions.

• Maintain a clean and organized work area.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in construction, demolition, or steel/iron work preferred but not required.

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks.

• Comfortable working at heights and in varying weather conditions.

• Strong teamwork and communication skills.

• Must have steel-toe boots ; other PPE will be provided.

Concrete Carpenter
Peoplelink Staffing, in partnership with a prominent Construction Company in the Vance, Alabama area, looking for Concrete Carpenters to join their team!
Job Summary:
· Pay: $18/hr and Up
· Shifts Available: 10-hour shifts starting at 5:45am
Responsibilities:

• Read and interpret construction drawings and blueprints.
• Measure, cut, and assemble formwork for footings, foundations, walls, columns, slabs, and other concrete structures.
• Set and align forms to desired grades using levels, plumb bobs, and other layout tools.
• Install rebar, wire mesh, and embedded items as needed.
• Pour, spread, and level concrete using rakes, shovels, and screeds.
• Smooth and finish surfaces of poured concrete using hand tools, floats, trowels, and power screeds.
• Dismantle and clean forms after use, preparing them for reuse.
• Follow safety protocols and maintain clean, organized job sites.
• Collaborate with foremen, laborers, and other trades to ensure timely and quality project delivery.

Requirements

• Must have 3-5 years of experience
• Must be proficient in math and reading a tape measure
• Proficiency with carpentry tools and concrete equipment (e.g., saws, drills, vibrators, trowels).
• Knowledge of construction safety regulations and procedures.
• Ability to read construction blueprints and layout measurements.
• Physically fit and able to lift heavy materials, work at heights, and perform strenuous labor in various weather conditions.
• Reliable transportation to and from job sites.
