Radar Software Engineer

We are seeking a Radar Software Engineer to support the design, development, and enhancement of software for advanced ground-based radar systems. This role will focus on developing radar algorithms, embedded software solutions, system integrations, and performance improvements within a Linux-based environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement radar signal processing and tracking algorithms.
• Design software for embedded systems, microcontrollers, and FPGA interfaces.
• Build and maintain unit and integration tests.
• Improve performance and functionality of existing software applications.
• Contribute to distributed messaging architectures and system integrations.
• Participate in Agile development activities, including sprint planning, reviews, and daily standups.
• Create and maintain technical documentation.

Required Qualifications

• Experience developing software in C++ within a Linux environment.
• Proficiency with CMake and Git.
• Knowledge of embedded systems development.
• Understanding of radar systems and signal processing.
• Strong problem-solving, debugging, and software testing skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Xilinx FPGAs.
• Knowledge of networking, distributed systems, and parallel processing.
• Experience with GitLab, Jira, and Doxygen.
• Exposure to C, Java, MATLAB, or JavaScript. 

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Huntsville, AL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $80.00/hr.
