**What You'll Do:**
+ Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies within a healthcare facility.
+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing knowledge of emergency response activities appropriate to the healthcare environment.
+ Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and address potential security-related concerns.
+ Monitor access points, identify persons who may require assistance, and report any suspicious or unusual behavior observed during patrols.
+ Collaborate with healthcare staff to support a secure environment for patients, staff, and visitors, following all established protocols.
+ Document observations, incidents, and routine activities accurately and promptly as required by Allied Universal and the site-specific guidelines.
+ Remain alert to any hazards or disruptions in the environment and communicate findings to the appropriate personnel.
**Minimum Requirements:**
+ A Guard Card or license is preferred.
+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
