RN Maternal Child Unit (As Needed/PRN)
JOB SUMMARY:
Provides professional nursing care through the assessment, treatment, and education of patients in accordance with physician’s treatment plans.
**Must train to be able to work in every Dept. on 3rd floor including OB, Nursery, Peds, and Post-partum.
SCHEDULE: PRN “varies as needed” ***Must be willing to work night and day shifts
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
EDUCATION: Associates Degree in Nursing
EXPERIENCE: None required
LICENSES, CERTIFICATIONS, AND/OR REGISTRATIONS: Registered Nurse. PALS/ACLS/NRP certifications must be obtained within one year of employment on the unit.
EQUIPMENT, TOOLS, WORK AIDS: Office machines, computer terminal, diagnostic equipment, patient therapeutic equipment/machines, and fetal monitor equipment.
SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS: Knowledge of appropriate patient population growth and development.
