- Provide verbal interpretation between Chinese-speaking leadership and English-speaking production employees during meetings, training, and daily operations.
- Translate written materials, including work instructions, procedures, safety communications, and production documentation.
- Assist the Production Manager with coordinating daily production activities and operational communication.
- Prepare and maintain production reports, records, and operational documentation.
- Assist with production meetings by preparing materials and documenting key discussion points.
- Support onboarding and training of production employees by assisting with translation and communication.
- Serve as a liaison between production leadership and employees to help ensure clear communication.
- Coordinate with departments such as HR, Quality, EHS, and Maintenance when translation or communication support is needed.
- Perform other administrative or operational tasks as assigned to support production operations.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment preferred.
- Fluency in English and Mandarin Chinese (spoken and written) required.
- Strong verbal interpretation and written translation skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Strong organizational skills and ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Ability to lift up to 30 pounds.
