Salary: Starting Salary: $35/hour

Essential Duties/Responsibilities:

• Reads and interprets electrical and electronic schematics and blueprints and hand sketches.
• Locates components in the electrical systems and determines method and routing of electrical wires and or harnesses.
• Selects conduit and wire size based on current and wire bundle size.
• Uses hand and power tools and machine equipment as directed. i.e., conduit bender and threading machine, etc.
• Performs testing of completed units, components and assemblies.
• Troubleshoots electrical components and electrical systems.
• Maintains all documents and paperwork pertaining to the job.
• Guides and directs lower-level electrician work effort when necessary.
• Works effectively with co-workers, customers and others by sharing ideas in a constructive and positive manner; listening to and objectively considering ideas and suggestions from others; keeping commitments; keeping others informed of work progress, timetables and issues; addressing problems and issues constructively to find mutually acceptable and practical business solutions; addressing others by name, title or other respectful identifier, and; respecting the diversity of our work force in actions, words and deeds.
• Other duties may be assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Must be a U.S. citizen or have the legal ability to live and work in the US and meet any other federal program requirements.
• Able to physically move equipment up to 50lbs.
• Proficiency in MS Project.
• A general/working knowledge of MS Office products is required.
• Experience in manufacturing.
• Proficiency in basic mathematical functions.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills.

Required Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or GED Required.
• 3-5 years of related experience.
