The Staff Pad is partnering with Russellville Hospital, located in Russellville, AL to hire a dedicated Registered Nurse – Outpatient Surgery. What You’ll Do

• Perform pre-operative assessments and prepare patients for procedures
  
• Provide post-operative recovery care and discharge support
  
• Administer medications and treatments as per physician and anesthesia orders
  
• Educate patients and families on procedures, recovery and post-discharge care
  
• Monitor patient conditions and respond to changes appropriately
  
• Support efficient patient flow in a busy outpatient setting
  
• Maintain accurate and timely electronic medical records documentation
  
• Collaborate closely with physicians, anesthesia, and inter-disciplinary teams
  
• Ensure compliance with safety, infection control, and regulatory standards
  
• Prepare and maintain surgical equipment and supplies as needed
  

What We’re Looking For

• Active Alabama RN license
  
• Previous nursing experience required (Outpatient Surgery, PACU, or acute care experience preferred )
  
• BLS required; ACLS preferred
  
• Strong critical-thinking and assessment skills
  
• Excellent communication and patient education abilities
  
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced clinical environment
