$16–$23 per hour | Day Shift | Overtime Available
Morgan Metals Inc is hiring a MIG Welder to join our growing metal fabrication team in Athens, AL. If you have experience with production welding and blueprint reading, we want to hear from you.
Compensation & Schedule:
- $16–$23 per hour
- Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:45 PM
- Weekends as needed (overtime opportunities)

Responsibilities:
- Perform MIG (GMAW) welding on mild and structural steel components
- Read and interpret blueprints and weld symbols
- Complete fit-up and fabrication tasks
- Inspect welds to ensure strength, quality, and accuracy
- Grind and finish welds as required
- Maintain safe and clean work areas
Qualifications:
- Previous MIG welding experience
- Ability to read blueprints
- Strong attention to detail
- Reliable and safety-focused
