The Panther Group is seeking a Material Planning Coordinator III to support a leading manufacturing organization in Anniston, AL. Key Responsibilities

• Execute and manage MRP-based production schedules to support manufacturing operations
• Serve as a key liaison between production, supply chain, and materials teams
• Ensure timely delivery of materials to production areas to avoid disruptions
• Monitor inventory levels and conduct cycle counts and audits to identify risks
• Analyze and resolve material shortages, delays, or discrepancies
• Track and update work order progress and material consumption
• Process documentation including material requests, shipping documents, and release orders
• Collaborate with engineering, operations, and supplier quality teams to support production goals
• Support process improvements and continuous optimization of planning activities
• Maintain accurate data within MRP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar)

Required Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience in supply chain, materials planning, or operations
• Experience working in a manufacturing or production environment
• Hands-on experience with MRP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar)
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Ability to manage priorities and work independently in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in aerospace, defense, or high-volume manufacturing
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• Experience with inventory management, demand planning, or PFEP processes
• Continuous improvement or process optimization experience

Pay Rate: Up to $29.47 per hour DOE
