Overview
Licensed Practical Nurse, Long-Term Care (Travel) in Muscle Shoals, Alabama. This temporary travel assignment starts on 07/01/2026 and runs for 12 weeks. You’ll earn $737–$799 per week with guaranteed 36 hours per week. Shift: 3x12-hour nights. Setting: long-term care (LTC) in a nursing home environment.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care to residents in the long-term care setting, including routine assessments and ongoing monitoring of health status.
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments, with accurate documentation and adherence to physician orders.
- Monitor vital signs, observe for changes in condition, and communicate updates to the supervising RN or physician; implement care plans as directed.
- Assist residents with activities of daily living and maintain a safe, comfortable, and dignified environment.
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to plan and adjust care, document care activities, and ensure continuity of care during shifts.
- Maintain compliance with infection control, safety, privacy (HIPAA), and facility policies; demonstrate professional communication and teamwork.

Requirements
- Active, current LPN license in Alabama (or equivalent with eligibility to practice in the state)
- Graduation from an accredited practical nursing program
- 1 year of active patient care experience preferred, with LTC or skilled nursing experience preferred
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Ability to work 3x12-hour night shifts and adapt to a long-term care environment
- Strong communication, documentation, and patient safety skills
