Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A rewarding opportunity is available for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide services in a school setting in Trussville, Alabama. This contract position offers the chance to work with a diverse caseload in a learning center environment, focusing on students with varying needs, ranging from elementary through high school levels.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver speech-language therapy to a caseload of approximately 49 students
• Work closely with a high-needs group of students, primarily in 5th grade or below, with some high school students included
• Collaborate with educational staff to support individualized student goals
• Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports
• Participate in team meetings and communicate effectively with families and educators
• Adapt therapy approaches to meet each students unique communication needs

Qualifications and Experience:

• Possession of a valid Alabama Speech-Language Pathologist license (AL SLP)
• Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology preferred
• Experience working in school settings highly desirable
• Ability to manage a moderate caseload effectively
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Flexibility to work 3-4 days per week with onsite presence; hybrid or VOCO arrangements may be considered

Location: Trussville, AL

This role is contractual, running from ASAP through May 23rd, 2026. The position requires onsite availability, though some flexibility with hybrid or VOCO scheduling can be discussed to meet mutual needs. Prospective candidates will be interviewed via Zoom with the director.
