As a **Security Professional - Mall Patrol Bike** in **Birmingham, AL** , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a bustling retail and mall location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas, helping to deter security-related incidents and promoting a welcoming atmosphere for visitors. You will conduct routine patrols, remain visible throughout the property, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. **What You'll Do:**
+ Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including emergency response activities as appropriate.
+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner within the retail or mall environment.
+ Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and observe for any unusual circumstances.
+ Observe and report on security-related matters, communicating findings to Allied Universal and/or site management as required.
+ Assist with access control and monitor entry and exit points to help to deter unauthorized individuals from entering restricted areas.
+ Support Allied Universal and client staff during emergencies and/or evacuations according to established procedures.
+ Maintain a visible presence throughout the location to help to deter potential disturbances and provide reassurance to patrons and employees.
**Minimum Requirements:**
+ Able to ride a bike.
+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
