Camellia Health & Rehab is seeking a dependable and team-oriented Housekeeper to join our growing team in Mobile, Alabama. If you take pride in creating a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents, families, and staff, we would love to meet you.
Our housekeeping team plays a vital role in supporting quality care by maintaining a comfortable and sanitary environment throughout our skilled nursing and rehabilitation center.
Responsibilities- Clean and sanitize resident rooms, bathrooms, common areas, offices, and dining areas
- Dust, mop, sweep, vacuum, and maintain floors throughout the facility
- Remove trash and replace liners as needed
- Replenish housekeeping supplies and report inventory needs
- Follow infection prevention and sanitation procedures
- Respond promptly to housekeeping requests from residents and staff
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Follow all facility policies and safety guidelines
- Previous housekeeping, environmental services, hotel housekeeping, healthcare housekeeping, or janitorial experience preferred
- Nursing home, rehabilitation, hospital, assisted living, or healthcare experience is a plus
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail
- Reliable attendance and positive attitude
- Ability to lift, bend, push, pull, and stand for extended periods
